Smart & Biggar’s Tamara O’Connell awarded IPIC prize for the highest overall mark in the 2015 Canadian Patent Agent Examination

We are pleased to congratulate, Tamara O’Connell, an associate with our Toronto office on achieving the highest overall mark in the 2015 Patent Agent Examination.

Tamara was awarded the J. Edward Maybee Memorial Prize during the Gala Dinner at the Institute’s Annual Meeting at the Fairmont Château Frontenac in Québec City on September 30^th 2016.

Tamara’s practice focusses on patent prosecution for Canadian companies and for associate firms around the world. She regularly prepares and prosecutes patent applications ranging from simple mechanical inventions to complex inventions in high-tech industries.
