Houser Henry & Syron LLP Welcomes New Associate, Lovejot Bhullar

Lovejot is an associate at HHS, specializing in Corporate/Commercial Law with a keen insight into Banking and Finance and Commercial Real Estate. He brings a combination of professional rigor and attention to detail to every case, ensuring practical and effective outcomes for clients.

Academic

After completing his Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics (Honours) from the University of Guelph, Lovejot pursued his Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor. His tenure at law school was marked by leadership roles, including President of the Technology and Intellectual Property Law Club and Vice President (Finance) of the Health Law Club. His editorial contributions to the Windsor Intellectual Property and Information Technology journal underline his academic commitment.

A member of the Ontario Bar Association, Canadian Bar Association, and International Association of Privacy Professionals, Lovejot actively contributes to the OBA Privacy Law Executive. In 2023, Lovejot was also a participant in the Ontario Bar Association’s Career Accelerator Program, where a group of early- and mid-career lawyers completed intensive skills training in three emerging areas of law: artificial intelligence, ESG, and fintech.

As for future aspirations, Lovejot aspires to deepen his expertise in business succession law, particularly for small, medium, and family-owned businesses, aligning his skills with the evolving needs of the commercial sector.

Outside Interests

His interests extend beyond the law to weightlifting, reading (especially history and biographies), and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
