We are excited to announce that Heather Power has joined our team as an employment, labour, and human rights lawyer. With nearly a decade of advocacy expertise in all aspects of workplace law, Heather also works closely with corporate counsel on transactions and restructurings, guiding complex labour and employment issues.
She supports corporate counsel from initial due diligence to managing successor employer liabilities and mass terminations. She is passionate about crafting unique litigation strategies and achieving clients’ objectives economically and effectively. Heather holds a Juris Doctor and a Master of Public Administration from Queen’s University and brings a wealth of experience from her career pre-law.
Outside of work, Heather enjoys cooking, live music, and mystery novels in Toronto with her pug, Oliver.
