Koskie Minsky Welcomes Associate Alexandra Alferiev

Koskie Minsky LLP is pleased to announce that Alexandra Alferiev has joined the firm as an associate in the Pensions and Benefits Department and the Bankruptcy and Restructuring Group.

While in law school, Alex participated in a variety of advocacy competitions. She was a finalist in the Lerners FYAC Moot and then competed in the Davies Corporate Securities Law Moot where her team placed in the top five receiving an award for their factum.  Alex also served as a caseworker for Community Legal Services and a research assistant to Professor Michael Link in his role as UN Special Rapporteur, focusing on the issue of collective punishment.

Prior to law school, Alex studied political science at the University of Toronto, graduating with high distinction.

Before joining Koskie Minsky, Alex worked at a leading law firm where she gained experience across a wide range of litigation matters. She now focuses on litigation aspects for employees and retirees in bankruptcy and insolvency and pensions and benefits matters.
