Loopstra Nixon welcomes Jonathan Plender as an Associate

January 20, 2025

Jonathan is an associate in the firm’s Commercial Litigation & Dispute Resolution group.

After completing his undergraduate degree at Queen’s University, earning an Honours Bachelor of Arts, Jonathan returned to Queen’s to acquire his J.D. While there, he volunteered at the Business Law Clinic, where he assisted local business owners incorporate, draft shareholder agreements and finalize their bylaws.

Jonathan joined the firm as an associate, prior to which, he gained a broad range of experience in such areas as civil fraud and banking litigation at a firm in Toronto.

Outside of work, Jonathan enjoys spending his time on the golf course, watching sports, and traveling.
