WEL Partners welcomes lawyer Laya Witty
WEL Partners is pleased to announce Laya Witty has joined its team as an associate lawyer.
January 25, 2022
Laya joined WEL Partners as a Lawyer in January of 2022. Laya completed her Juris Doctor at
Osgoode Hall in 2011 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2012.
Prior to joining WEL Partners, Laya practiced at several different litigation boutique firms in
Toronto, gaining extensive experience in civil litigation. Throughout her career, Laya has been
advocating for people with disabilities. She has appeared in Ontario Superior Court and at various
tribunals in the province.
Laya is a skilled negotiator and passionate advocate for her clients.
When not practising law, Laya enjoys cooking, reading, teaching adult education classes, and
being an active volunteer in the community.
