Blaney McMurtry Welcomes New Partner, Kang Lee

Kang has national and global experience in various industries, including life sciences, food tech, cosmetics, robotics, AI, blockchain, to name a few. He combines legal acuity with commercial pragmatism to assist clients drive value, anticipate risk, manage uncertainty, and unlock opportunities in regulated and cross-border environments.

His practice includes regulatory and litigation counsel regarding intellectual property, technology, competition, trade and public law matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Kang served as General Counsel and in-house counsel at leading Canadian and international companies. In these roles, he oversaw the companies’ corporate, litigation, and compliance portfolios, and supported several capital-intensive projects. Drawing from this experience, he provides in-house services to clients seeking strategic legal support in supply chain management, contract administration, and risk advisory.
