Howie, Sacks & Henry Congratulates New Partner Kaitlyn MacDonell

We are pleased to announce that Kaitlyn MacDonell has been admitted to the Howie, Sacks & Henry LLP partnership, as of January 2022.

Kaitlyn joined the firm as an associate in 2014 and she has built a robust personal injury litigation practice, focusing on long term disability claims, accident benefits claims and other disability and insurance litigation.

Kaitlyn has personal experience with the impact of traumatic brain injury, having witnessed the devastating effects of her father’s experience with brain injury as the result of a criminal assault.

Kaitlyn has tremendous understanding and compassion for all of her injured clients, and she brings her determination and advocacy skills to fight for their rights in court and before administrative tribunals. Kaitlyn writes and presents regularly on legal topics, and she also devotes her energies to volunteering within the brain injury community, serving as the President of the Brain Injury Association – Peterborough Region (BIAPR). Most recently, she was awarded the prestigious Martin Wunder, Q.C. Outstanding New Lawyer Award by the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA).
