Lenczner Slaght Welcomes New Partner Sana Halwani
Sana Halwani brings together science, law, and advocacy as the newest partner joining the firm's IP practice.
March 6, 2017
We’re thrilled to announce that Sana Halwani is joining us as a partner at Lenczner Slaght.
Since Chatelaine named her one of Canada’s “80 Women to Watch”, the IP litigation world has been watching her successes grow. Now she’s bringing her scientific acumen and passion for advocacy to the growing IP litigation group at Lenczner Slaght.
With just the right amount of lab coat to go with her court robes, Sana is a seasoned IP litigator who has taken on complex cases in innovative industries from biologics to business software. And with a B.Sc. in biochemistry and an M.A. in bioethics, along with registrations as both a patent and trademark agent, she can handle even the most technical cases with ease. When she’s not bringing her experience to bear on the law of patents, trademarks and copyright, she moonlights in molecular gastronomy by eating her way around the world.
Please join us in welcoming Sana to our firm.
