Smart & Biggar is pleased to share that Michael Sgro has been promoted to senior associate in recognition of his achievements and contributions.

Michael is familiar with the challenges that many inventors face when trying to navigate the patenting process. Having been involved in the development of technologies that subsequently became the subject matter of patent applications, he knows the value of having access to a professional who is able to effectively communicate with inventors and can translate inventions in a way that allows for the best protection.

Michael’s experience covers the pharmaceutical and chemical patent fields. He specializes in chemical compositions, small molecules (NCEs), semiconductors, polymers, catalysts and catalytic processes, and manufacturing processes and apparatuses.
