Thornton Grout Finnigan is pleased to welcome associate Andrew Nesbitt to its restructuring and litigation practice groups.

He began his career at TGF as an articling student, where he gained hands-on experience in both restructuring and litigation matters, which he is now building upon in his practice as an associate lawyer. During law school, Andrew actively participated in advocacy competitions, including the Osgoode Hockey Arbitration Competition, the Frozen Open Osgoode Moot, and the Dentons Cup. His involvement extended beyond the moot courtroom; he was an engaged member of the Osgoode Business Law Society and played for the Osgoode Hall hockey team. His academic excellence was recognized with the Insolvency Institute of Canada’s Prize in Insolvency Studies for achieving the highest grade in the bankruptcy and insolvency course, and the Wendy Babcock Social Justice Award for his commitment to public interest.
