Torkin Manes is pleased to announce that Aleksandar Jovanovic has joined the firm as an associate in our Litigation Group.

Aleks practises in all areas of litigation with an emphasis on commercial law and professional liability. He has worked on a variety of matters including contractual and shareholder disputes, construction lien actions, and allegations of professional misconduct.

As a summer student at the Ministry of the Attorney General, Aleks gained an intimate understanding of civil forfeiture proceedings which are initiated pursuant to Ontario’s Civil Remedies Act. Throughout his years at law school, Aleks volunteered at Queen’s Legal Aid where he assisted persons in need with various legal issues.
